My Hainesport Endurance Runs Race Recaps: 24hr, 48hr & 12hr

Who's going to tackle any of the Hainesport Endurance Runs in 2026? And who's going back for a second or third time? This is a great ultra event! I know, because I've conquered the 24hr, the 48 hr and the 12 hr event.
Here are my race recaps starting with my first Hainesport event, the 24 hr. Super happy to place 3rd female, in heat and humidity. The following year, super happy to place 1st female in the 48hr, in the freezing cold. And after rehabbing a left knee injury, I power walked my way to 7th female in the 12hr the following year.
To all racing this year, you will love it. You will share the course and the suffering and joy as you collect loops and miles with old friends as you make new friends.
And a reminder that October Is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I'm happy to share that I beat early-stage breast cancer a few months before the 12hr In 2024. Please schedule your mammogram. Early detection saves lives. I'm still moving and conquering ultras. So grateful!

I won't be there this time, but I hope to stop by to cheer on my friends and you!
