Grand Teton 2011

After spending four days of fun hiking, geysers, and wildlife in Yellowstone, we headed to Grand Teton national park for more RV living in the RV park in Grand Teton, strenuous hiking, encounters with wildlife from afar, and horseback riding.

Hooked up the RV at a KOA campground

Majestic snow-capped mountain ranges

 are spectacular!

Hiking up to Inspiration Point and a beautiful view of Jenny Lake an

an elevation of 7200 ft

Approaching the end of our 9 mile hike. Jenny Lake and her trail is spectacular

My dusty NorthFace trail shoes rest and so do my feet after a nice cold foot bath in the river

After a 10 mile drive to Teton Horseback Adventures Ranch, we hopped on the horsies for fun guided horseback riding

Jon prepared delicious, healthy meals

There are places of worship in Grand Teton. Here I am at the Catholic Chapel

of the Sacred Heart.

Warming up on the boulders before the start of a 9 mile hike on the Jenny Lake Trail

Living on the edge on the Jenny Lake Trail

Time to rejuvenate our hot and tired feet

in the cold river

More hiking the next day along

sage bushes

Amazing beasts roam in Big Sky Country

And I happily washed the dishes

Happy to earn my first national parks junior ranger patch! I completed the junior ranger activity book, and was sworn in
